I am honored to serve the people of the 8th Suffolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In my second term, I am a member of the Education, Judiciary, and Labor & Workforce Development committees. In addition, I am the House Chair of the Caucus of Women Legislators, a bi-partisan, bi-cameral group of female legislators who work to enhance the economic status and equality of women and encourage and support women in all levels of government throughout the Commonwealth. By exploring this website, you’ll find useful information about how to register to vote and where to vote if you live in my district. To vote in the 2008 primary, you must register to vote by August 27 and to vote in the general election, the deadline to register is October 15. You’ll also be able to sign up to receive my newsletter and, if you click on Contribute, you will find a convenient way to make a donation online. You may also download a contribution form to mail with a check. I encourage you to check this page often for new information. I regularly update the News section with important information about issues in the district and at the Statehouse. As always, please feel free to call or write to me with your ideas, concerns, or questions. Click on Contact Us to see the different ways to reach me. Thank you for the privilege of representing Boston and Cambridge in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Sincerely,
